Blue Team

Defensive Security

Blue teaming focuses on the defensive aspects of cyber security. We work towards learning the proper techniques for system hardening, network monitoring, forensics, and so much more! You don't need to have prior knowledge/experience to join our team, just be ready to learn!

Red Teaming

Offensive Security

Red teaming focuses on the offensive aspects of cyber security. We aim to learn the many different aspects of offensive security and practice in simulated penetration testing scenarios. You don't need to have prior knowledge/experience to join our team, just be ready to learn!

Server Committee

Server Management

The Cyber Defense Organization Server Committee works to build out and maintain the organization's server and network infrastructure. The organization relies upon the services hosted on our servers, and the server committee ensures that everything keep running smoothly. If you are interested in joining the Server Committee, feel free to talk to a current committee member or executive board member about potential opportunities.

Weekly Presentations on Cyber Security Topics

Every week, we host a workshop focused on a topic within cyber security. These workshops are available to everyone, and are a valuable resource in learning more about security. Previously hosted workshops have included networking, forensics, IoT, cryptography, and much more!

Certificate Study

Learning the material for CompTIA certificates

Every so often, CDO hosts a certificate study group aimed at providing resources and teaching to students interested in obtaining industry certificates. This is a great way to obtain a widely accepted certificate and get your foot in the door for more advanced certificates!
